Base brand guidelines
Base provides clear public brand guidelines covering typography, color, motion, sub-brands, and messaging, accompanied by a direct zip download of core assets.
Freedam's take — I really appreciate how straightforward Base keeps their documentation. Every major section, from color and typography to motion, is easily accessible directly from the persistent sidebar. The typography section features their custom Base Sans typeface alongside fallback options and typetesting tools. I like seeing dedicated chapters for motion principles and sub-brands, which gives external teams clear guidance on how elements move and lock up. Rather than burying files behind complicated portals, they provide a direct zip archive for immediate asset access.
