University of Catania brand guidelines
Brand guidelines for the University of Catania detailing narrative foundation, core visual marks, spacing rules, and asset downloads.
Freedam's take — I love how deliberately the University of Catania opens its brand portal. Rather than jumping straight into vector assets, the site leads with an authentic brand story rooted in its history since 1434, setting a thoughtful foundation for the visual identity. The navigation breaks the identity down into granular components, giving dedicated pages to the primary logo, pictogram, ring graphic, and logotype. On the primary logo page, clear rules for clearspace, minimum sizes, and co-branding sit right beside direct zip downloads, making implementation straightforward for academic teams.

What I could not see
- Content on downstream pages such as typography, colors, photography, and applications was not captured in the viewport text.
- Search functionality, asset browsing tools, and editable template downloads were not observed.
Ideas to borrow
- Separate complex emblem systems into dedicated pages for individual components like pictograms, rings, and wordmarks so users understand how the assets deconstruct.
