Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences brand guidelines
The AMPAS brand guide outlines guidelines and downloadable asset bundles across three distinct entities: Academy, Museum, and Oscars.
Freedam's take — I really appreciate how the Academy organizes its brand architecture into three clean pillars: Academy, Museum, and Oscars. Each section gets its own dedicated space while keeping an identical structure across logo, color, and typography. Looking through the museum identity, I noticed they introduce GT Cinetype alongside Futura PT, giving that arm its own distinct character. The layout feels practical, offering immediate downloads for bundled assets in every section. It is a straightforward, tidy approach to housing distinct cultural entities under one digital roof without overcomplicating things.
